How do you know that the interventions you have in place are having a positive impact on the learners in your setting? What pre- and post-intervention data do you collect? Do you collect ‘soft’ data around learner confidence and self-esteem? Throughout this course we will look at the data which can be collected to demonstrate the impact that the provision we put in place is having on learners with additional needs, and how SENDCOs can use this information to inform governors, senior leadership teams and Ofsted.
The course will provide SENDCOs, Inclusion Managers and Assessment Leads with the knowledge to:
- carry out appropriate pre- and post-intervention assessments for a range of commonly used interventions in English and Maths
- link this information to a costed provision map
- analyse data
- use the data to show the positive impact of quality interventions and provision
