To provide an opportunity for cross district moderation of evidence across a range of standards, based on current teacher assessment. This will provide the opportunity to identify next steps and make links to the Teacher Assessment Frameworks 2018/19.
This session will enable teachers to:
- further develop their understanding of moderation processes
- make links between ongoing teacher assessment judgements and the application of the teacher assessment frameworks 2018/19
- identify next steps
- work collaboratively with schools from across the district to moderate year 2 reading, writing and maths.
Delegates will need to bring: A range of evidence from reading, writing and maths derived from normal classroom practice, which includes independent work, from 3 children (1x WTS, 1x EXS and 1x GDS in each subject) to present to a group of colleagues for moderation of teacher assessment judgements. It maybe useful to bring a recording/video clip of a child reading to support discussions
